I wrote the following article in May of 2004. Tourism was just starting to pick up again after the horrible terror attacks on Israelis between October of 2000 and Operation Defensive Shield in April or 2002. This wave of terror broke out after our then Prime Minister, Ehud Barak, at president Clinton’s urging offered Yasser Arafat a Palestinian state in over 95% of the West Bank, all of Gaza, half of Jerusalem and a piece of Israel itself more »
