Funeral held for those killed in mistaken airstrike
Thousands of mourners have attended a funeral for the 35 civilians killed in a Turkish airstrike on the Iraqi border. The civilians were mistaken for rebel fighters from the Kurdistan Workers Party, otherwise known as the PKK. Most of those who lost their lives were young villagers who were smuggling cigarettes and diesel fuel across the border. Read More »
